About

Nghia Vo

My name is Võ Thành Nghĩa. In Vietnam the family name goes first. In English it flips to Nghia Thanh Vo, and most people just call me Nghia.

I've worked as a semiconductor engineer since 2011. I'm comfortable with test data and spreadsheets. I can read a little code. I can't write it. Everything I build here is vibe coded*, which is the only reason a person like me can build anything at all.

A while back I did a 21-day challenge learning Claude Code. I finished it. I also wrote down every mistake I made on the way, and by the end there were 32 of them. That notebook is the reason this site exists. It turns out the mistakes were the useful part. Nobody learns much from a list of things that worked, but a list of 32 ways I got stuck, with what finally got me unstuck, is something another beginner can actually use.

That Claude Code link is a guest pass: seven free days of Claude Pro, with Claude Code in it. Two catches. It only works if you've never paid Claude before, and you hand over a card that gets charged on day eight unless you cancel. If you stay past the eighth day, I get $10 of usage credit.

So I'm doing it again. In public this time.

Why now

I'm 38, and I still have a 9-to-5. With AI changing what companies need, I don't think any job is safe for the next ten years, and mine is no exception. My wife and I support our two sons, my 75-year-old mom, and a bank loan. All of that rests on one paycheck. Keeping everything in one basket is the risky part, so I'd rather build a second thing now, while the first one is still fine.

What this site is

Two things.

The challenge. 21 days of building and selling a small digital product with Claude. A report every Sunday with what I did, what broke, and the numbers.

Guides. Step-by-step write-ups of things I actually did: building this site, getting the email list to work, picking what to sell. Some of it happened before day 1. I don't write a guide until I've done the thing myself, and every guide shows what happened when I tried it.

How this site makes money

It hasn't made a cent yet. The wiring is already in, though, so you should know where it is.

Some pages here link to the tools I'm running this challenge on. One of those links earns me money: Systeme.io, the tool that emails you the free guide. It's on the challenge page and under every email box on this site. You pay the same price either way, and I may get a cut.

Wherever there's an affiliate link, there's a line right next to it saying so. That's the rule, and it doesn't change. I only link to tools I actually use here, and I tell you what's wrong with each one and where its free plan runs out.

I also plan to sell the product I build in the challenge. You'll see exactly how many I sell.

Say hi

Reply to any email I send. I read all of them. Or find me on X at @NghiaV_Blogger.

* Vibe coding. I describe what I want in plain words and Claude writes the code. I type in Vietnamese, my first language, and what comes out is normal English. It's fast, and it means you don't have to be a programmer to build something. You have to be someone who can say clearly what they want.
