Week 3: 54 Impressions, 0 Profile Visits, and 0 Stranger Emails
My report for Week 3: the five-day test, the numbers I could verify, and what is still unknown.
Numbers first, then what happened.
The numbers
Read on Sunday, October 11 (GMT+7):
- I read the 7-day view on X at 7:28 PM. It showed 54 impressions for my posts and replies from October 5 through October 11. That counts screens, not people. It counted 0 visits to my profile.
- I read my site's 7-day analytics at 7:29 PM. It recorded 22 visits and 22 page views. It didn't sort them into people and machines. None came with a referrer, and t.co didn't show up.
- 0 emails from strangers. I read my contacts at 7:28 PM and the recently deleted list at 7:29 PM. The only contact is my own test one. The goal was 50.
- 0 verified orders and $0 in verified revenue. I still have no product or checkout. The last cost I verified was $11.48 for the domain, which I bought on September 19. I didn't check for newer costs today.
- The day 12 post has 23 views and 0 replies, read at 7:27 PM.
- I have 212 followers on X, read at 7:28 PM.
These are separate counts. I can't follow one person from a view to a visit to an email.
What happened
The five-day test ended on October 9 at 0 of 2. I reached 0 people. In five evenings of searching, no post I found passed all four of my checks.
With zero people reached, this result doesn't say whether the idea has demand. It says I didn't get as far as asking.
I did not publish the Week 2 report on October 4. I published the day 12 update that day instead. I said I'd write a report every Sunday, so that's a miss.
What is still undecided
I haven't decided what comes after this round.
